.Achieve the unachievable - aim beyond what you are capable of and try to do things you’re incapable of. If you think you’re incapable of getting good grades in exam, make that your aim. Nothing is impossible.
.Do not seek praise, seek criticism - If you ask people, ‘Is this ok?’, simple reply yet sometimes a bit dishonest you will get as simple as an ‘ok’. Instead ask, ‘What’s wrong with it? How can I make it better?’ You are more likely to get a truthful, critical answer. You may even get an improvement on your idea and you are still in position to reject the criticism if you think it is wrong.
.It’s all my fault- Never blame others. Blame no one but yourself. You are the one to shoulder the responsibility. There are no excuses.
.Release your ideas - Give away everything you know and more will come back to you.
.Don’t look for the next opportunity. The one you have in hand is the opportunity.
.Accentuate the positive. Eliminate the negative.
.When it can be done, do it. If you don’t do it, it doesn’t exist.
.Don’t lose hope after failing. People make mistakes. The person who doesn’t make mistakes is unlikely to make anything.
.If you get stuck, draw with a different pen- Change your tools, it may free your thinking. Plainness does help to focus but it also can lead to dull layouts. Try filling your lecture notes with colours. It is not a solution, but it does open up the mind and it’s fun.
.Don’t be afraid to work with the best - approach them with attitude and they will respond positively.
.Never stop seeking knowledge. It’s endless.
